6 Valentine Projects

Looking for some heart inspiration? Here are 6 fabric valentine designs I’ve created.

  1. Puzzle Heart Mini
This is one of my favorites because the heart comes out different every time depending on how you cut! These quick and easy fusible applique mini quilts make lovely valentines.

2. Confetti Heart Valentines
Cut your fabric scraps even tinier and create these unique hearts! Watch the YouTube video to learn how.

3. Heart-apalooza!
I used my Nature Unfiltered fabric and a brand-new Thermoweb project - VersaFoam - to make a dimensional heart pillow. Watch the YouTube tutorial here and find the pillow construction details here.

Or use the hearts to make a window mobile:

4. Strippy Improv Hearts
Choose your favorite color combo of strips to create strippy improv heart blocks using reverse applique. The pattern includes a lap quilt, baby quilt and pillow layout.

Here’s the baby quilt - with Chenille-It stitched to the heart edges for a cozy feel.

5. Strippy Improv Pillows

These large throw pillows use Strippy Improv Hearts and matching print border to create valentine decor.

6. Plant Love Pillow

Use DecoFoil to "grow" your own flowers for a heart-themed applique pillow.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope it’s filled with chocolate and fabric fun.
