Plant Love T-shirt
I’ve got a new pattern up on the Thermoweb blog - the Plant Love Pillow!
I came up with the idea based on an Eric Clapton song that goes "Plant love and let it grow," and that sentiment really appealed to me, especially now. We all need a love - we can all plant a little love and watch it grow. So I decided to make a pillow that does exactly that. Click here to view the pillow tutorial. Click here to download the templates (I have two different sizes - one for the pillow and one for the t-shirt).
I also thought this could be a great t-shirt, especially with the Rainbow DecoFoil. The process is so easy! I traced the words and images onto the paper side of the DecoFoil Hot Melt Adhesive (unlike fusible applique, you trace these shapes right side, not mirror image).
Ready for the rainbow foil!
Peel off the paper. You can see the shiny adhesive on the shirt.
Following the manufacturer’s directions (medium heat is key!), apply the rainbow foil. Make sure to wait until the foil has cooled before peeling off the excess.
That’s it! I can’t wait to wear this shirt!
